Bell Launches Push-to-Talk for BlackBerry App

Bell has finally turned on their new network Push-to-Talk. Bell looks a PTT network to "Telus to offer HSPA +, which provides faster download speeds (up to 21 Mbps) and calls to your PTT contacts under 1 second.

In addition, Bell has released a PTT application for BlackBerry is currently only available for the Curve 9360.Features include:

• ‘Presence Status’ shows whether employees are available or unavailable
• Corporate Admin Tool let’s you easily manage contacts and groups
• Enhanced security on Bell Mobility’s 4G network

• Fastest data speeds available on PTT devices in Canada (up to 21 Mbps download speeds)

The PTT monthly rate plan, there are four that range in price from $ 15/month to $ 60/month. Plans vary in the offerings of the add-on with the "Canada-Wide Unlimited PTT" to include airtime / 300 minutes of long distance and local sharable.
